The Cornish coastline is outstandingly
beautiful. Many rocky coves, sandy beaches and clear water make
this a very popular destination. The southern coastline of
Cornwall is the more unspoilt part. The northern coastline of
Cornwall is more built up and althought it does have some dive
centres such as 'Dive St Ives', it is more favoured in terms of watersports, for
its surfing.
A few places I found particularly special whilst I was exploring Cornwall was 'Kynace Cove', 'Coverack', 'Sennen' and 'Mousehole'. Coverack has a very good windsurfing centre if you are interested in trying the sport. The centre has a great relaxed atmosphere and the instructors can train you from Level 1 - Level 5.
Porthkerris is in ideal location. The cove is beautiful and has direct access to the Manacles (one of the best dive sites in Cornwall). The dive centre is a family run business and is getting more and more visitors each year.

The diving from Porthkerris is excellent. There is a boat running regular charters from the middle of the cove all day to visit nearby dive sites, which are in large abundance!
The shore diving is impressive. From shore you
have a chance of seeing all different kinds of marine life. I did
a night dive from the shore where I was lucky enough to see
flatfish such as Topknot and I also saw a dogfish whilst diving
from shore. The visibility when diving from shore is also
impressive. I got over 12 metres visibility.
